This easy and delicious North American speciality is a snap to prepare and a great gift.
Prep time: 5 minutes / Cooking: 20 minutes
Serving: 4 breakfast bowls
4 oz. (125 g) chocolate, chopped
½ cup (40 g) rolled oat flakes
1 tablespoon (5 g) pistachios
1 tablespoon (5 g) flaked almonds
1 tablespoon (5 g) pecans (or hazelnuts or macadamia nuts)
1 tablespoon (5 g) coconut flakes
1 tablespoon (5 g) pine nuts
1 tablespoon (20 g) runny honey
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees C). Mix all the ingredients together. Spread out over a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until the mixture turns a beautiful golden colour. Give the sheet a shake so it doesn’t all stick together and bake for another 5 minutes or so. Leave to cool. Serve with milk or yogurt and fresh fruit.
